Here's a before and after from a recent fence panel replacement. In the first photo, a panel was missing from the fence line entirely, leaving the garden behind open to the pavement with nothing but a gap between the posts.
In the second photo, a new timber panel has been fitted between the existing posts, closing the gap and giving the boundary a neat, complete finish. The warm, fresh colour of the new panel stands out against the older, weathered panels either side, though that difference fades fast as the new timber settles in and weathers to match.
A missing or damaged fence panel can leave a garden exposed and make the whole boundary look tired, even when the rest of the fence is in decent shape. Replacing just the panel that needs it, rather than the whole run, is often a simple and quick way to put that right, this job was completed in a single visit.
